We’re spreading our wings!
We’re on the move! It’s been a busy year at Testbirds; we’ve rebranded, set up an office in London, and now it’s time to build a new nest in one of Germany’s most important and dynamic technology hubs – Leipzig!
It was long time in the planning, but we’ll open the doors to our new office on 1st of April 2022! In addition to our headquarters in Munich, it doubles our footprint in Germany and enables us to better assist our clients and support our overall growth strategy. It also means we’re now on the lookout for experienced project managers, sales reps, and people looking to join our crowd management team.
People power: The crowdtesting advantage
We provide best-in-class crowdtesting solutions all over the world. If it’s digital, we can test it. Today, we work with over 1,000,000 testers in 193 countries to test the user-friendliness, usability, and functionality of digital solutions. We’re growing rapidly and excited to be part of today’s dynamic digital revolution.
But wait a second. Crowdtesting? What is it? It’s about using real people, in real-world conditions, to test digital products. No labs. No employees pretending to be customers. Just hand-picked testers that match – as closely as possible – the intended audience of the product. To find out more, click here.
Thoroughly modern office. Historic Leipzig.
We’ve grown a lot since we were founded in 2011. From three people to over 100 employees. A handful of clients to hundreds. Today, we have offices in Munich, Amsterdam, London, and Leipzig.
We are now one of the largest and most active testing crowds worldwide. And we’re sure you’re wondering… the name Testbirds is all about the flock. A group of ‘birds of a feather’ who believe in the digital future and want to help our clients build digital products that their customers will love.

That we’re now able to focus on setting up new offices is exciting. Leipzig was our first choice for a second nest in Germany. Not only does it have the highest population in Saxony but it’s an important economic region for IT companies – since 2012, over 500 IT start-ups and companies have settled in the city (giving it the nickname of ‘Silicon Saxony’. For start-ups, especially, it’s a great environment. Leipzig’s Spinlab (a start-up accelerator), for one example, has been awarded one of the top 3 accelerators in Germany and in the top 20 in Europe. The region is truly dynamic, innovative, and full of exciting networks, universities, and well-educated people. The perfect spot for us to set up and test digital solutions!
That the city itself is a wonderful mix of classical architecture and modern technology is a bonus!
But what good is there opening a new office without people to fill it? While we will relocate some Testbirds employees, we want to offer new positions and hire tech-savvy people who bring their own fresh ideas with them. Right now we’re largely focusing on project managers in UX, IT, digital services, and more, but are also on the lookout to fill sales and crowd management roles!
Testbirds project management. Where every day is unique.
Crazy new products, start-ups, global billion-dollar companies, nearly every industry you can think of. Testbirds project managers are right in the thick of it. Like PMs everywhere, our teams are involved from day one, helping to plan, execute, monitor & control, and close projects. But not just on the client-side, but with our extensive network of global crowdtesters.
It’s no exaggeration that every day is different.
Show moreAs a Testbirds project manager, you’ll be an integral part of what we do. In close collaboration with our clients, you’ll help define what to test (finding bugs, functionality, UX, and/or usability, etc), set targets, determine the target audience – and find their exact match amongst our crowdtesters.
Then, based on your testing strategy, you’ll help put together a Proof of Concept that takes a close look at the testing scope, tester demographics, devices to be used, and time-frames. All to develop a work breakdown structure that lets you manage the project down to the smallest detail.
Now it’s time to test and you’ll keep clients updated and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget – while being the primary contact person with our testers.
Keep in mind, this can be for the latest in-car infotainment system, a next-generation gaming app, an IoT device, literally… anything digital. How great is that!
But there’s still more to do! As the testing ends you may need to (it depends on the client’s service level) make a detailed evaluation of the results and compile a comprehensive report.
At Testbirds you really won’t be doing the same thing twice.
